An active, sporting life promotes our physical wellbeing and health. But many people find it difficult to make time for physical activity in their busy schedules. With this target group in mind, Philips developed a device that measures the wearer's movements in everyday life. The motion data of the "Activity Monitor" are evaluated online, and a personal fitness plan shows the current activity status, monitors progress and offers suggestions to intensify daily fitness.
On the website, created, designed and realized by 21TORR, visitors can find information how to wear the device, get ideas to increase everyday activity and explore the features of the personal fitness plan. The site in a fresh green colour scheme gets visitors into the right mood for the little fitness helper, while inspiring them to become more active.
Among the website’s main features are several product presentations demonstrating the use of the "Activity Monitor", which were designed to convince site visitors that the device is suitable for everyday life. The presentations are collages created from product photos, real images and animated illustrations. A music and sound concept, developed and composed specifically for the project, completes the lavish information clips. Voice-overs and captions can be easily replaced in order to localize them for different countries. The technically sophisticated realization also ensures that the videos can be viewed at low bandwidths without difficulty.
